We were at the mall earlier and we were heading towards this clothing store when my 7-year-old son went inside this cigar store that is just beside the clothing store. I didn’t know it was a cigar store until I saw the display window and saw one of the names written on one of the boxes, la flor dominicana cigars. I am new in this city and I can still count with the fingers on my hands how many times I’ve gone to that mall so, you can’t really blame me if I am not familiar with all the stores there yet.

Thanks to my son, if not for his curiosity, I wouldn’t have discovered that there is a cigar store there. That gave me an idea then of a gift for the hubby in the future because he smokes. I haven’t seen him smoke a cigar yet though, but I think he will like it.

Not knowing how to drive and having no license at all hinders me from going anywhere at anytime I want. I only get to go somewhere usually during weekends when the husband is home. But gladly today, our good friend, Carol offered to take us to the mall. She was going to buy something and thought of asking us if we wanted to come along. Well, that is not something that I would refuse because it is something that I really like doing.

We went to Walmart first because she bought some stuff and then we headed to the mall. We only did some window shopping. I checked for cocktail dresses as well as other stuff. She gave us a treat, cookies this time and it was yummy. She also toured us in one of the places here in the city where big, nice and million dollar homes are located. That was such a trip. We were actually on top of this hill where beautiful houses were. That was lovely!

If not for her, my day could have been spent playing and browsing the internet again. Glad there was a change today.

My son was playing with our neighbors on their swing set yesterday when he came running towards the house. He said he hit his right arm, the arm that had the surgery on last year because of the fracture that he sustained, and was complaining of pain. That really scared me because I thought he broke it again.

He was asking for the shoulder brace that he used last year, but my husband said there was no need after he checked it and found out that there was nothing wrong with it. I think my son just overreacted. Or he probably did feel pain, but not so much that he needed the brace.

I felt relief after that! Whew!

I don’t usually wear my wedding band and engagement ring here at home because I keep on washing my hands and I don’t want to wet them. As if that is going to hurt them, huh? I only wear them when I go out somewhere. Maybe I am being too protective of my jewelry, but what can I say? I love them! I can’t thank my husband enough for letting me choose the best that I could find. The price of jewelry at his favorite jeweler was really expensive, but he never had second thoughts of taking me there.

I know buying gold can be expensive and I believe it’s already given that gold jewelry is costly, but still I was surprised of how expensive it has become. Nevertheless, that won’t stop me from acquiring more gold jewelry in the future. That’s how much I love jewelry.

My husband chose one of those titanium rings as his wedding band. He liked how it looked and he doesn’t have to worry about it getting scratched since it is scratch-free and he does mechanical work. With my husband’s kind of job, that is simply the best ring for him. He doesn’t have to remove it even if he’s doing a dirty job at work. It looks nice on him too. It is definitely the perfect ring for a perfect husband like him. (“,)
