He Was Full Speed Ahead!
We went to a children’s playground today, and it was a first for the little one since we arrived here. You could really tell that he was in awe because the playground has huge slides and it has a toy ATV and car too. He was so happy to see them that he rode on them more than he went to the slides.
He even told us that he wanted one of those toy rides. Well, maybe we will get him one. They are made of plastic materials so there’s no need to buy RZR XP Accessories for it so it will not be that expensive. He will be overjoyed for sure.
He’s the “Lawn” Ranger
It’s been a glorious day today so guess what the husband is busy doing? Mowing! He was riding on his riding mower earlier and right now, he is finishing the job using his push honda mower.
It’s been two weeks that he hasn’t mown because of the weather. It has been raining and all. I’m glad today is a very nice day. He was able to do the job and our surroundings look so beautiful again. Good job, Honey!
Postponed Until Next Week
We were supposed to go to a birthday party today, but we received an e-mail yesterday informing us that it was postponed until next weekend, and that is because all the kids of the celebrants were sick. Poor kids! No biggy though because the postponement of the party made us accomplished another mission which came at such a short notice, and that’s attending a memorial picnic by my fellow countrymen in a town nearby.
It was a short notice because the husband didn’t tell me about it until a couple of days ago. It really came as a surprised to me. And though I want to meet my fellow countrymen, it seemed like the husband was more excited than I am. Hee hee.
Anyway, I am still looking forward to the party. I am done with the birthday cards actually.
Those Men and Their Sport’s Teams; Boring!
We’ve attended a few birthday parties these past couple of weeks and with that, we’ve met many new people. One couple that we met is a neighbor of the one of the celebrant’s parents and we found them to be very interesting. Because aside from the fact that the man is in the military, he was wearing a shirt and a cap that are both my husband’s favorite basketball team and baseball team respectively.
They made a connection right away, but sad to say, their family is moving to Texas soon. The man is assigned to be posted there and his wife will be starting a business there too. It will be their first time in Texas and, hopefully, there won’t come a time that they will have to deal with a business lawyer like what I read online. That would be sad.
It’s Never Too Late
Our neighbor’s twin sister is taking up her master’s degree in human resource management, but I didn’t know that until we talked the other day. I was aware that she was back in school working on her master’s degree, but not the course and also, that she is getting her master’s degree from an online university. I know getting a degree using an online university is definitely of the most convenience and that’s one of her reasons in taking that route.
Being a stay at home mom, that gave me the idea of pursuing a master’s degree online. I’ll ask the husband about it as well as prompting him to consider furthering his education seeing that he never went to college. Better now than never, honey!
