He’ll Love My Apple
I was supposed to clean the back deck today, but after seeing a pair of apple bottoms jeans online, I couldn’t help but browse the site some more. And, oh yeah, the jeans were not only the thing that put a smile on my face. The rest of the merchandise did and I bet you already know what will happen next. Yep, online shopping. Teehee.
It wasn’t supposed to be in the agenda today, but what can I say. I have to take care of this itch and the only way to get rid of it is to get me a pair of those lovely jeans. Yee-haw!!!
He’s a Golfing Guru
Four more days and it will be the day of the dads. I already got my husband a gift and my dad too. For my dad who is a golf enthusiast, I never have any problem thinking of what to give him. My gifts for him during the past years have always got to do with his most fave sport, and that is golf.
To name a few, I gave him golf gloves, golf shoes, golf shirts and a personalized golf cap. For this year, I am giving him a golf navigator watch. He will certainly love it. I have no doubt of that.
How about you, is your gift for your dad ready?
Chit Chat with the Girl Next Door
Chit chatting with friends is something we girls or women enjoy doing. And the topic just goes to about almost anything. From serious to silly things, name it, we do talk about it.
Today’s chit chat with our good neighbor, Heather was not in the plan at all. After we arrived from the museum wherein they invited us to join, she invited us for a little snack in their house, and that’s when the chit chat started. We talked about all kinds of topics that we could think of, and guess what? Before we knew it, it was already 4 o’clock in the afternoon. We had been talking for almost four hours already.
That’s how much fun we had. Now I am looking forward to another chit chat with her. She’s a nice person and she’s nice to have a conversation with.
They’re Making War on My Nerves!
The kids from next door are here again to play with my son. Since the summer has started, they’ve been here almost everyday. I am in the bedroom, but I can hear them screaming and running from the living room to the kitchen. Guess what they’re playing? Well, kids love playing war and they’re battling away.
They make use of folded umbrellas as rifles and crumbled paper as grenades. A kid’s imagination can be amusing at times. I do wonder if their rifles have rifle scopes though so it would be easy for them to hit their target. LOL. They’re having fun and that’s the most important thing.
She’s Looking Good
I was too engrossed browsing online stores for a new window air conditioner online when I heard the back door open. I knew my husband had just left to run errands so it couldn’t have been him. I could hear my son playing with the neighbors in the front yard so I wondered who it could be until she said, “Hello?”
It was my stepdaughter looking for her daddy. I told her that her daddy left to buy a bag of ice. I hadn’t seen his daughter for a while and I noticed that she’s lost weight. She was a little on the chubby side the last time I saw her. I wonder if she’s into sensa weight loss. I didn’t want to ask. For sure my husband will let me know if she’s shared any info with him.
