PostHeaderIcon I Don’t Like Those Creepy Crawly Things!

One of the many things that my 8-year-old son enjoys doing is scaring me. He knows I am afraid of worms and after learning from his dad that woolly worms are going to be seen here in the fall, he always says that he can’t wait to catch some woolly worms and show them to me.

I don’t know if he would really do it, or if he was just bluffing. But if he did, I’d surely have a heart attack! LOL. Just thinking about it actually makes me nervous and makes me want to go the hospital to have an ecg and get checked.

Gosh! Thinking about worms makes me not look forward to the fall. But I do want to see the changing of color. Whatever!

PostHeaderIcon Boo Time is Near

It’s only September, but I can already feel that Halloween is in the air because Halloween goodies and costumes can be seen everywhere, from supermarkets to clothing stores; they are there to catch everyone’s attention.

I did check on them because this is my first celebration of Halloween here in the U.S. and I want to put a Halloween feel in the household. I was already eyeing on some goodies, but I haven’t thought of a costume yet. I haven’t seen one that I like in the stores so, most probably, I will check online. I have seen costume city coupons which is perfect. I can get savings on the costumes for the three of us. This will be really exciting!!!

PostHeaderIcon Friends With Benefits

I’ve seen the movie and it was  hilarious, but I am not going to talk about the movie. And unfortunately, the story is not hilarious like the movie. I have a friend who is currently into that kind of situation. I know it’s none of my business and I know too that even if I yak at her every minute of the day, her choice will still prevail since she’s old enough to decide for herself.

But I am a friend and I only want the best for her. I believe she deserves better than that. The guy has a girlfriend so she is not really the priority, but just an option. The guy would probably just call her if he feels like it. Also, my friend is not legally separated yet and has a 7-year-old son from her husband. It’s inappropriate and really unbecoming of her. Well, people do change, huh?!

You see, I am not going to yak and fret for nothing. What they’re doing is really wrong. But oh, well! It’s her choice, so be it.
