Break Time Chat
I have this friend in Michigan who calls me almost everyday – during her break time at work to be exact. She’s got two snack breaks in a day aside from her lunch breaks. And she would either call me in the morning or in the afternoon and we would talk for fifteen minutes because that’s the only time she’s got.
There were times that I missed her call though because I was in the shower. And you know why she calls me? It’s because she felt left out all the time when it comes to conversing with her colleagues. She’s new in the job thus, more often than not, she couldn’t relate to their topic.
It’s fine with me though whenever she calls because at least I get to talk and converse using my own language which I am missing a lot. (“,)
One Must Always Be Prepared
It’s been a couple of weeks since we made our trip to Charlotte. It is only a two-hour drive from our city and soon enough, we will be heading that way again. But that is after we receive a letter which we have been waiting for like two weeks now.
It is really fun to go on a road trip. Though I am a little scared with those big trucks, still, it doesn’t stop me from looking forward to our next trip. How I wish we had an rv though, that would be even more great. I’ve seen a lot during our recent trip, some of which are beside the road fixing something, perhaps. For certain, if you own one you must be prepared for an rv repair. But of course, that is one thing that travelers should always be ready for because repairs can be needed at any given time, at any given place.
She’s a Curly-Q Girl
If there’s one thing that reminds me of my best friend, it is an eyelash curler. She brings it with her wherever she goes and she will curl her eyelashes wherever we are, whatever we’re doing, even while having dinner! Me and my friends often kid her about it because it seems like her day is not complete without it. And even though it looks like her eyelashes are still curled up, she will still curl them.
Maybe I should get her the best eyelash enhancers so there is no need for her to curl her eyelashes, huh? She will be delighted, I’m sure. Tee-hee.
Honesty is the Best Policy
Why is it too hard for some people to be honest? Isn’t it more shameful if they lie and it is so obvious that they are doing it?
But it is their choice, isn’t it? It is already in their personality. And it would be futile to tell them not to continue doing it because they will do so. A liar will always be a liar, right?
I do wonder what they will get from lying. More friends perhaps. Yeah, more friends who are liars too. Oh well! What can I say?
Soon, Our Odyssey Will Be Complete
Yesterday, we made a trip to a city which is a three-hour drive from our city. It was our first appointment for the documents that we are currently processing. There will still be a series of appointments coming soon and we are definitely looking forward to it because we want this to be done as soon as possible.
We will receive notice for two more appointments and though we don’t know which one will come first, we are getting ready for it. I checked for the list of medical practitioners at the website today just in case the medical exam will come next. I thought we needed a family or general practitioner, but I was surprised that it is a civil surgeon that we will be seeing.
I checked their difference by searching it online, but so far I haven’t been successful. What I get from the search engines at the top of the list was Family or General Practitioner Jobs instead. I tried many times, but got tired eventually. I will just wait for the husband. Maybe he knows the difference. Knowing him to be a wide reader, I bet he can tell me the difference.
