‘Tis Time to Pay the Piper
It’s almost the time of the year again to file taxes. This will be my first year of doing it here in the land of Uncle Sam and I really have no idea what to do. The husband does know how, but it will be his first time to do the tax with dependents. He mentioned about getting the service of an accountant like that of raleigh accountants perhaps to make things easier and hassle-free for us. We’ve not come up with any conclusion yet since we still have time to go. Soon.
Silly Us
I commented on my friend’s Facebook wall post earlier and after I’ve done that, another friend of ours commented and that was the start of a silly conversation between the three of us. That has always been the case whenever we talk. We talk silly things and laugh about it. I always enjoy silly talks with them. It makes me feel like a kid. We will always be a kid at heart, right?
Well, life is short. Let’s have fun and enjoy it to the fullest. Besides, we’ll look old for our age if we’ll always be serious. If some people we’ll take our jokes seriously, then, it is their problem not ours.
Though Always Home, I Still Work Hard
I am a stay at home mom or, better yet, a work at home mom. Yes, I may be at home, but I do have my little business where I am earning enough to buy me and my family a little something from time to time. But I am open to more possibilities of earning more and I actually have been looking and asking friends about business opportunities. Something that I can do here at home though because I really can’t do anything outside, not unless it is part-time because I have my son to pick up after school.
I haven’t seen anything yet that’s really convinced me to invest, but nevertheless, I am continuing my reading about investing, business management and also about small business loans bad credit. I don’t have any credit at all, but it pays to read so I am reading anything I come across that has something to do with business. I am keeping my fingers crossed that I will find the right business for me one day. Best of luck to me!
The Motorcycles are in Hibernation for the Winter
Since winter started, I haven’t seen those men flying on the highways on their motorcycles, geared up in leather outfits and Bell Vortex helmets. Well, for certain, the reason is because it is way too cold to ride their big boy toys.
Just like my son, seeing them flying in unison never fails to catch my attention. I just love the roar of their motorcycles. I don’t know. I guess I am a frustrated motorcycle rider. LOL.
Well, I am pretty certain I will be seeing them again in spring.
Wondering
I was surprised to see what my friend had posted on her Facebook wall this morning. She yakked about a friend of hers – whom I have no idea who – of being a hypocrite and all. I asked her about it and she told me her sentiments without telling who she was referring to.
We have the same friends from work, but she also have other friends from school that I haven’t met. I just hope the one she was referring to wasn’t a mutual friend because that will really be sad. It didn’t occur to me though until I read her comments and replies to some of her friends’ comments. Hmmm, I am really wondering.
