Actually, my eyes grow wider whenever I see sales. LOL. Well, it actually depends on what the sale is about. If it is something that I really want or something that I/we need, that’s it… I’ll be in heaven.

So basically, when I read “save on chauvet lighting,” I was delighted for the people who wants or need it. For sure they were happy to learn about that. I am not in the music industry or anything so, I have no use for it. Not unless we’ll put some here at home while my husband is rocking his guitar. Well, why not? (“,)

I did mention before that he lost his wedding band while mowing the yard, right? We did find it, but it was only half of it. He ran over it with his riding mower; he originally lost it while using the push mower, and the riding mower most certainly did the damage. It is for sure lying in our yard there somewhere.

But I do wonder if we’ll ever find it. Not that we’re gong to have it fixed. It was our wedding band – the band that we used to say our vows during our wedding. Anyway, he was going to order one last weekend but our budget changed his mind. So, I think we’ll just have to wait.

My car had problems for the first time three weeks ago. Luckily, it happened during my son’s spring break so, I didn’t have to deal with how to get him to school. And our mechanic repaired it just in time before spring break ended. I was so thankful for that.

Yes, I chose to walk away. For me, life is short to waste your time on people who suck the happiness out of you. Time is precious after all. My principle is…I would rather be alone than to have a bad companion.  Besides, happiness is not being around a lot of people anyway. It is being around the real ones. Am I not right?

The husband bought some hardware for the grill today because it will soon be grilling time. He also bought some other hardware like dowel pins for the dresser drawers and FH plugs for the cabinet doors because we will be changing the handles. He hasn’t bought new handles yet, but that will be his next goal. Besides, we need to re-stain the cabinets first.

I am going to repaint our son’s bathroom too. I was going to check for paint today, but I forgot. That will have to wait for next week.

Wow! Lots of work, eh?

So, I had to regroup and think of something else. And, of course, where else could I go but to books, which is my Hubby’s other passion. And thankfully, I aced that by getting him a book about the relationship between America and the Philippines, my home country, and you should have seen the look on his face when he opened the gift: PRICELESS!

Now, hurry up winter. Let spring begin!

And here’s to praying and hoping that the weather will be nice on his big day which will fall on spring break. I really can’t wait.

It was really nice listening to them and knowing they were having a great daddy-daughter bonding time. It seldom happens since his daughter is busy being a teacher. Glad she makes time with her dad as often as she can. It makes me really glad because I know the joy she brings to her dad whenever she pays him a visit.

The yard is still full of leaves and branches while things are scattered and topsy-turvy in the tool shed. I want everything neat and organized in the racking for reasons like, it will be easier to find things and it will be good to look at. Am I not right?

So, hurry spring so we can start with our cleaning.

Another friend posted this on his Facebook wall today and just like previously, I can’t help myself from sharing it here because it is so true.

I don’t hate, but there are surely certain people that I despise. And those are the people who feel so great about themselves. They judge people on what they see without even knowing them first. They judge like they are perfect individuals when the truth is, they also have a lot of flaws. Pretenders…that’s what they are. Hypocrites, if I may add.

And you know what? I am surrounded with those kinds of species here in our little domain. But what I did? I just ignored them and will continue to ignore them. They are fooling nobody but themselves. Pitiful!
